You are here: Home / Archive / Feature Stories / Why Does Russia Continue To Get Away With The Wide-Scale Doping Of Its Athletes?
Published: March 17, 2024 by VPR Producer

The 2024 Paris Olympics is set to start in just four months. While Russian athletes have been barred from representing their country, they’ll still be able to compete on a neutral, no-representation status. However, there are still many lingering questions about the efficacy of anti-doping tests and if the Olympics will once again be plagued by athletes who are retroactively banned.

Guest Information:

  • Travis Tygart, CEO, U.S. Anti-Doping Agency
  • April Henning, assistant professor, International Sports Management, Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
