Will there ever be an “end” of ice? Journalist and author Dahr Jamail exposes how this phenomenon might be in the near future. In his book, The End of Ice, Jamail discusses climate change and its effect on our ecosystems and natural landscapes, including the melting and disappearance of massive ice glaciers. The long-term consequences of climate change are predicted to be devastating to coastline cities across the globe, causing millions to relocate. We discuss the long-term consequences of global warming and what we can do as a society to reverse the damage. Mario Trigueros is the Program Manager for Online Learning at the Pachamama Alliance, a non-profit that aims to introduce people to scientific facts that inspire them to find solutions in their own communities and help create a sustainable future.
