Over the last five years, companies have made a lot of promises about improving workforce diversity and reducing discrimination in recruitment and internal promotions. However, in recent months, many of these directives have been called into question for their lack of effectiveness and ability to promote real change across the organization. We speak with Harvard researcher, Paola Cecchi Dimeglio, about the ways in which workers routinely face bias and how companies are redirecting their efforts in hiring and beyond.
