As of 2022, the average American woman earned 82 cents for every dollar earned by a man. While it may not seem like much of a pay difference, this disparity adds up over time. And it’s been this way for decades with little progress happening in America to lessen this wage gap in America. We speak with two experts about this issue and how workers – in various industries and at different levels – can better advocate for more equal pay across the board.
