Many young people look up to the influencers they regularly watch online on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. Today, this pastime has turned into a career aspiration for some. We speak to two professors about the rise in college students pursuing degrees in social media to work for an agency or brand, or become on-screen influencers themselves.
